Financial Analyst

Raeburn's Oil & Gas Client based in Westhill are currently looking to recruit a Financial Analyst. The Vessel Financial Analyst is responsible for all areas of finance and accounting for two vessels in the company's fleet Key Responsibilities: o Ensure that the cost control for the vessels is undertaken in an accurate and timely manner to truly reflect status, including forecasts and sensitivity risk. o Ensure that all financial reporting and transactions are in accordance with group standards. o Communicate financial position of the vessels to the Management Accountant on an ongoing basis. o Preparation of annual budgets and supporting packs required by corporate. o Preparation of the ship rates. o Provision of cash flow forecast information including identification of foreign exchange exposure and liaison with group treasury hedging requirements to mitigate hedging exposure. o Liaison with other project control functions eh, SCM, Planning and other Departments eg accounts payable, group treasury on any issue that affects the financial performance or financial reporting of the vessels. o The timely coding, collection, analysis and reporting of all vessel expenditure, together with the budget holders. o The production of audit reports and other audit information as required by internal and external audit teams. Capability profile - Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Behaviours o Degree level education with a recognised professional accountancy qualification preferable. o Previous experience of working within a similar industry and size group within a business unit finance team. o Proficient in the use of MS office, particularly MS Excel, and food working knowledge of in house finance systems and databases. o Experience of using large complex ERP/consolidation systems such as SAP, JDE, Business Objects, and Hyperion would be benefit. o Be a good team player
